People I would like to invite for dinner (Essay Sample) Content: Of all the people in the world whom would you invite to dinner?Solomon Ongà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬auAcademic expertsPeople I would like to invite for dinnerWhat person would I like to have dinner with? This is a question that everybody, at one point asks him or herself. This in the real sense is a theoretical question because most of the people do not have the essential social standards, or the person in mind is already dead, but the fact remains that imagination does not have a boundary and, if one is very good at it, one can come with the real thing. This being said, if I have the opportunity to have a dinner with a person, there are three people that I would choose. These three people do inspire my life since they all deal with real life matters. The three people that I would wish to have dinner with would be Lauren Hill, Mitch Hedberg (deceased comedian), and Marshall Mathers. This paper will explain the reasons why I would choose to invite these three people for dinner. The fi rst person I would wish to invite for dinner is Lauren Hill. Lauren Hill was born in May 26th 1975 in South Orange, New Jersey (Greene, 2000). Lauren is one of my favorite musicians but that is not the sole thing that makes her qualify as the person I would wish to have dinner with. I think she is an amazing writer whereby she has written one of my favorite songs called "War in the Mind." In this song, she talks about the real problems that people go through every day in their life. She is very original in the sense that she creates most of her songs from what is going on. She is known as the mother of hip hop has she has successfully integrated rap, reggae, and soul. Her music is inspirational authentic. If I had the prospect to sit down with her, I would ask her where she gets her inspiration for her materials from and how important it is to have her music related to the real life issues in the society.Mitch Hedberg is the second person I would like to invite for dinner. The decea sed Mitch Hedberg was a standup comedian born in February 24th 1968 in Saint Paul, Minnesota (Rao, 2011). The first time I saw him on theater performing was when I was randomly browsing the internet when I saw a few videos of his performance. Apart from the laughs he gave me, I was wan by his abrupt delivery, the unique style manner of speech, and the remarkable stage performance. The jokes were out of ordinary focusing largely on the wordplay, whimsy, non-sequiturs, and object observation. I saw some of the interviews that were conducted featuring him and I found him to be intelligent, charismatic, and a standup comedianà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s main assets. If I had the option to sit down with him, I would ask him where he got his inspiration from and what kept him going.Marshall Mathers is the third person I would like to invite for dinner. Marshall Mathers was born at Saint Joseph, Missouri in October 17th 1972 (Stubbs, 2003). He is of German, Scottish, Swiss and Polish ancestry. Beside the honor of meeting him, I have a number of reasons for wishing to spend an evening with this rapper. In my opinion, one thing I can learn from him is that one should never give up on life, and one should express what he or she feels. Marshall Mathers is all about expressing what he feels through his songs. In some point, I would find my philosophy the same as his; I should like to learn all his secrets. Marshall Mathers proves to be a great source of information pertaining how to earn peopleà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s respect. An evening with him just listening with him just listening and nodding to all the teaching from Marshall Mathers wou...
